In deciding where to base our thriller we couldn't at first find any where to go, so we starting look at places where we can use a shed, we wanted an old ruined shed as we wanted the quality of the scene to not be amazing, and it was essential for us to have garden objects and other outdoor things inside. However what we did find out that outside Paulls house in our school there is a shed which was perfect for our scene and we were allowed to use it after the science teachers allowed us to , which enabled us to do all our filming in one day and in one area, at school. Therefore we filmed our opening sequence at Aldenham School. This was because this school has all the resources and places we need in our thriller opening.

The shed right outside in front of Paulls was perfect for us because its in an old shed and the condition of it isn't modern or altered with that much so it was perfect for our scene.  This was also the case for the pathways in school as there was natural lighting, high bushes which made it look more frightening and it was a good opportunity for us to use a lot of misce-scence.
