INSPIRATIONS

THRILLERS THAT INSPIRED ME TO CREATE MY OWN THRILLER PLAN

I love watching Horror- thriller movies therefore most of my inspiration comes from that section of a thriller. Why is it that I love watching horror-thriller? People go to horror films because they want to be frightened and very scared or they wouldn't want to go and watch the movie twice (mostly unlikely) . You choose your entertainment because you want it to affect you in every way possible. That's certainly true of people who go to entertainment products like horror films that have massive effects. They want those effects to provide a resolution in the end. Basically the bad guy gets it... Even though they choose to watch these things, the images are still disturbing and could even be gruesome for many people. But people have the ability to pay attention as much or as little as they care to in order to control what effect it has on them, emotionally and otherwise. Also negative feelings created by horror movies actually intensify the positive feelings when the hero triumphs in the end. But what about movies where the hero doesn’t triumph? And even in some small studies have show that people’s enjoyment was actually higher during the scary parts of a horror film than it was after.
Thrillers ... Thrillers are exciting. hair standing and dangerous.  The reader keeps wondering what's going to happen next, given the unexpected turns, and feels that no character is sacred -- a major character may die in the story, you never know.
This is therefore why might a horror-triller be an inspiration in creating my own thriller plan. This type of thriller gets people of their feet and builds up a lot of feelings and emotions which no other thriller can give to people to experience.

Here are some thrillers that have inspired me to create my own thriller plan ! From Wikipedia's Page...

THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE : In an extremely rare decision, the Catholic Church officially recognised the demonic possession of a 19 year-old college freshman. The Exorcism of Emily Rose chronicles the haunting trial of the priest accused of negligence resulting in the death of the young girl believed to be possessed. Inspired by true events, the film stars Laura Linney as the lawyer who takes on the task of defending the priest (Wiklinson) who performed the controversial exorcism. It is a fantastic plot, symbolism, acting, and execution. Scriptural symbolism out the wazoo. I particularly love the scene that the picture is from. What a powerhouse sacrificial, symbolic, brilliant reveal.

THE BABADOOK :  This film is excellent! This is a very refreshing use of fictional monsters masked in a mental condition with a symbolic representational twist. If you have half a brain, you'll understand the lesson and the entire film will make perfect sense with the final reveal. I am currently writing a screenplay that will be severely impacted by this film, thus jumping to my top slot for a temporary period of time. This leaves a spine-tingling sensation of satisfaction by realising the symbolism and remarkable accuracy in its portrayal. Fantastic acting, use of sound, cinematography, and creativity within the plot and its execution.

THE CABIN IN THE WOODS : If it's true that you always kill the thing you love, then horror honchos Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard have taken an ax to slasher cinema in The Cabin in the Woods and chopped it up for kindling. With love, mind you, and a potently playful sense of mischief. Cabin is a deliciously devious scare dance that keeps changing the steps until you lose your patience and fall helplessly into its demonic traps.
Props to the cast for going beyond the call of bloodbath duty. Connolly is a standout, bringing emotional nuance to her role even as the filmmakers bombard her with everything from zombies to a killer unicorn. And Kranz, now on Broadway in Death of a Salesman, is comic dynamite as the pothead. You haven't lived until you see him use a bong as a weapon of mass destruction.
Cabin keeps springing scary surprises. And it's wicked, twisted fun until the violence starts nagging at you. The gods and monsters of the movie never question their appetite for gutting pretty young things. But you'll question yours for sure before the film's shocking end. Ironically, Cabin was made in 2009 but got stuck in studio limbo when MGM declared bankruptcy. Now Lionsgate has let the beast out. Punishment is its own reward, especially at the box office. But Whedon and Goddard are hunting bigger game. By turning splatter formula on its empty head, Cabin shows you can unleash a fire-breathing horror film without leaving your brain or your heart on the killing floor.

THE SHALLOWS : In the taut thriller The Shallows, when Nancy (Blake Lively) is surfing on a secluded beach, she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of Nancy's ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude.
