MOVIE SURVEY
In order to produce the best thriller film ever, I had to plan a survey to gather information from different individuals. I have used a survey for a variety of purposes, one of which is to assess the opinions and thoughts of my target audience that is already split up with 50% being men and 50% being women, that normally watch thriller movies.
After I posted the survey on Facebook, the people that actually answered my survey allowed me to generalise the findings, which was the whole purpose of my survey research.
When the individuals took my survey I was able to simplify the responses and I found out that 40% of the people preferred Crime/Action Thrillers same as the 40% of the Psychological Thrillers. Only 20% of the people liked Horror movies, unlike the Erotic/Torture Porn that hasn't received any likes by those who took the survey.
I found out that people have preferred the School as the better location in a thriller film having 40% of the votes.
The haunted house was also liked and has received 30% of the votes. The woods 20% of the votes and deserted location only 10%.
We are going to take into account all of the locations mentioned as we need multiple places through the plot.
To the question "What elements do you think make a thriller film successful?" the people that answered found equally liked Psychos and Unplanned Disasters both having 40% of the votes.Therefore we have made an unplanned disaster of a kidnapping!
Finally to the question on the reaction to scary and dangerous situation, the majority has chosen that they would be Running Far away with 70% of the votes. On the same foot the other options all received equally 10% of the votes.
Now that my Survey is done and complete I am effectively able to reduce and generalise the findings of my multiple-choice questionnaire. Including the likes and preferences of the audience to make it very likely to be of their taste.
